The choice for West Chesterton

West Chesterton has reached a crossroads.Mike_Chesterton_Road_web.jpg

For many years, its issues have not been cared for by either the City or County Councils:

  • Mitcham’s Corner allowed to decline
  • School Catchment Areas which don’t reflect the capacity of Milton Road School
  • Piecemeal approach to Residents Parking which impact other parts of the ward
  • Buses which don’t serve local needs

The choice in West Chesterton and Cambridge is simple, but far reaching:

Drift on OR vote for the candidate who will both work hard in turning round the West Chesterton ship and could have a seat at the table of a new Labour administration.

If elected, Mike plans to serve on the main City Council Committees which affect West Chesterton: Environment and Planning Policy. These cover development and transport.

This will ensure that West Chesterton’s voice is heard loud and clear at the Guildhall.
