Mike Sargeant— local resident & campaigner stands for Labour

Mike has been campaigning on behalf of local people since moving into the ward, in Gilbert Road, in 2000 - over 15 years!
  • Governor at Milton Road School
  • Improved lighting and cycling on Gilbert Road
  • Funding for the Sports Pavilion at Chesterton Community College
  • Funding for the Chesterton Coordinator transforming Mitcham’s Corner
  • Represented local people at City Council Planning Committee
  • Secured more bins in local streets
  • Resolved issues for local residents

 Mike says: “My family have been to the local schools as well as being involved in local scouts, brownies and choirs. To me, West Chesterton is where I live, a great area for local residents and I do all that I can to keep it that way and improve it."
