Labour saving trees on Milton Road

Milton_Road_Trees.jpg“We’ve secured the City Deal Board’s support for an avenue of mature trees and a single bus lane, similar to the current  provision” says Cllr Mike Sargeant.

Kelley Green, Labour’s specialist on trees added “We want to protect the quality of the local environment AND reduce congestion and pollution and therefore improve the overall quality of life for Cambridge residents. I would be very happy to discuss with you what trees would be best if they need to be replaced”

Cllr Jocelynne Scutt Chair of the Local City Deal Liaison Forum  also added “We would like to thank all the residents who have worked so tirelessly in the City Deal workshops to get the best for local people.”
